Mike Treadwell, Big-box Specialist

Mr. Treadwell has over 36 years of commercial real state experience and is an expert in the leasing and development of Power, Community and Neighborhood shopping centers.  Mr. Treadwell began his career as a leasing specialist at Coldwell Banker.  In 1988 he joined Westcor ultimately assuming the role of Senior Vice President of Development and Leasing.  In this role he was directly involved in the development of over seventeen hundred acres of retail and mixed-use encompassing 20 retail projects totaling over seven million square feet.

In 2004, after the acquisition of Westcor by Macerich, Mike added to his responsibilities as a Senior Vice President of Development and Leasing as architect of the companies Peripheral Land Group responsible for portfolio leasing for Big Box, Anchor, and other Peripheral leasing opportunities.  Mr. Treadwell has extensive network of tenant relationships such nationally known retailers as: Costco, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Dick's sporting goods, Sports Authority, Kohl’s, Penney, Barnes and Noble, Borders, AMC theaters, Cinemark theaters, and Harkins theaters.
