Susan Valentine, Marketing

Ms. Valentine has over thirty years experience in the shopping center industry with specific expertise in public relations and marketing.  Her career experience includes direct responsibly for the marketing programs at both The Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) and Macerich (MAC); two publicly traded REIT’s and recognized leaders in the shopping center industry.   Susan has been involved with a broad spectrum of projects including strategic and public relations plan development, execution of forty shopping center grand openings and/or redevelopments, financial planning/ management and creative problem solving.

Most recently, as Senior Vice President of Marketing, she directed Consumer Experience Department at Macerich, which focused on creating exceptional shopping environments that provided shoppers distinct experiences and programs that created meaningful connections with consumers and the community. Her responsibilities included development of cause branding initiatives, sales promotion, merchant relations, events planning, and tourism development.
